Complement 9 is a protein involved in the complement system. It participates in the formation of the Membrane Attack Complex (MAC). The MAC assembles on bacterial membranes to form a pore, permitting disruption of bacterial membrane organization. Mutations in this gene cause component C9 deficiency. And this gene is mapped to 5p13.1.
Optimal dilution of the C9 antibody should be determined by the researcher.
A recombinant human partial protein corresponding to amino acids K289-N515 was used as the immunogen for the Complement C9 antibody.
After reconstitution, the C9 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
