Description

ABL1 is a cytoplasmic and nuclear protein tyrosine kinase that has been implicated in processes of cell differentiation, cell division, cell adhesion, and stress response. The DNA-binding activity of the ubiquitously expressed ABL1 tyrosine kinase is regulated by CDC2-mediated phosphorylation, suggesting a cell cycle function for ABL1.

Application Notes

Titration of the c-Abl antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

A portion of amino acids 741-769 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this c-Abl antibody.

Storage

Aliquot the c-Abl antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
