POU domain, class 4, transcription factor 1 (POU4F1), also known as brain-specific homeobox/POU domain protein 3A (BRN3A), homeobox/POU domain protein RDC-1 or Oct-T1, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the POU4F1 gene. It is mapped to 13q31.1. This gene encodes a member of the POU-IV class of neural transcription factors. This protein is expressed in a subset of retinal ganglion cells and may be involved in the developing sensory nervous system. This protein may also promote the growth of cervical tumors. A translocation of this gene is associated with some adult acute myeloid leukemias.

Amino acids R311-Y419 from the human protein were used as the immunogen for the BRN3A antibody.
After reconstitution, the BRN3A antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
