Description

BMI is a component of the Polycomb group (PcG) multiprotein PRC1 complex, a complex required to maintain the transcriptionally repressive state of many genes, including Hox genes, throughout development. [UniProt]

Application Notes

Titration of the BMI1 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

A portion of amino acids 257-286 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this BMI1 antibody.

Storage
