Sperm-associated antigen 5, also called Astrin and Deepest, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SPAG5 gene. This gene encodes a protein associated with the mitotic spindle apparatus. The encoded protein may be involved in the functional and dynamic regulation of mitotic spindles.
Optimal dilution of the Astrin antibody should be determined by the researcher.
Recombinant human protein (amino acids E738-S1193) was used at the immunogen for the Astrin antibody.
After reconstitution, the Astrin antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
