Sister chromatid cohesion protein PDS5 homolog B (PDS5B), also called Androgen-induced prostate proliferative shutoff-associated protein AS3, or simply 'AS3,' is a protein that in humans is encoded by the PDS5B gene. This gene encodes a protein that interacts with the conserved protein complex termed cohesin. The cohesin complex holds together sister chromatids and facilitates accurate chromosome segregation during mitosis and meiosis. This protein is also a negative regulator of cell proliferation and may be a tumor-suppressor gene.
Optimal dilution of the AS3 antibody should be determined by the researcher.
E. coli-derived recombinant human protein (amino acids Q499-Q1424) was used as the immunogen for the AS3 antibody.
After reconstitution, the AS3 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
