Amyloid beta precursor protein binding protein 1 (APPBP1) binds to the beta-amyloid precursor protein, a cell surface protein with signal-transducing properties, and it is thought to play a role in the pathogenesis of Alzheimers disease. In addition, the encoded protein can form a heterodimer with UBE1C and bind and activate NEDD8, a ubiquitin-like protein. APPBP1 is required for cell cycle progression through the S/M checkpoint. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting amounts. Titration of the APPBP1 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
Human partial recombinant protein (AA 181-534) was used as the immunogen for this APPBP1 antibody.
After reconstitution, the APPBP1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
