Description

APOA2, Apolipoprotein A-II, which is the second most abundant protein of the high density lipoprotein particles. The protein is found in plasma as a monomer, homodimer, or heterodimer with apolipoprotein D. Defects in this gene may result in apolipoprotein A-II deficiency or hypercholesterolemia.

Application Notes

Titration of the Apolipoprotein A-II antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

A portion of amino acids 28-56 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this Apolipoprotein A-II antibody.

Storage

Aliquot the Apolipoprotein A-II antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
