ANXA3 Antibody / Annexin A3 Antibody recognizes Annexin A3, a calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding protein encoded by the ANXA3 gene. As a member of the annexin family, Annexin A3 associates reversibly with cellular membranes in response to intracellular calcium, allowing it to regulate membrane organization, vesicle transport, membrane fusion, and signal transduction. These activities enable Annexin A3 to participate in numerous physiological processes involving membrane remodeling and intracellular trafficking. Consequently, ANXA3 Antibody is widely used to investigate membrane dynamics and calcium-regulated cellular functions.
Annexin A3 is expressed in a variety of epithelial, endothelial, and immune cell types, where it contributes to secretion, endocytosis, exocytosis, cell migration, and inflammatory responses. The protein has also been implicated in angiogenesis, tissue repair, and regulation of innate immune function, particularly within neutrophils and other myeloid cells. Through its interactions with phospholipids and signaling proteins, Annexin A3 helps coordinate cellular adaptation to changing environmental conditions and intracellular calcium levels.
Numerous studies have reported altered ANXA3 expression in human malignancies, including gastric, colorectal, lung, liver, breast, ovarian, and prostate cancers. Depending on the tumor type, increased Annexin A3 expression has been associated with tumor progression, invasion, metastasis, angiogenesis, and resistance to chemotherapy. These observations have generated considerable interest in ANXA3 as a potential biomarker and therapeutic target. ANXA3 Antibody is therefore frequently used in studies examining cancer biology, biomarker discovery, therapeutic response, and disease progression.
Annexin A3 is commonly analyzed by Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation, and flow cytometry to evaluate protein expression and subcellular localization. An ANXA3 Antibody is a valuable research tool for investigating Annexin A3 biology, calcium-dependent phospholipid interactions, membrane trafficking, inflammatory signaling, angiogenesis, and cancer-associated molecular mechanisms.
