ANXA1 Antibody Human Placenta IHC. Immunohistochemistry staining of FFPE human placental tissue was performed with ANXA1 Antibody, also called Annexin I Antibody. Heat-induced epitope retrieval was performed by boiling tissue sections in EDTA buffer, pH 8, for 20 min followed by cooling. Strong positive staining is observed along the trophoblast layer of placental villi. This ANXA1 Antibody demonstrates Annexin A1 expression in human placenta and supports studies of Annexin I expression and function.
ANXA1 Antibody Human Colorectal Adenocarcinoma IHC. Immunohistochemistry staining of FFPE human colorectal adenocarcinoma tissue was performed with ANXA1 Antibody, also called Annexin I Antibody. Heat-induced epitope retrieval was performed by boiling tissue sections in EDTA buffer, pH 8, for 20 min followed by cooling. Positive staining is observed in the malignant glandular epithelial cells. This ANXA1 Antibody demonstrates Annexin A1 expression in human colorectal adenocarcinoma and supports studies of Annexin I in cancer biology and inflammatory signaling.
ANXA1 Antibody Human Lung Squamous Cell Carcinoma IHC. Immunohistochemistry staining of FFPE human lung squamous cell carcinoma tissue was performed with ANXA1 Antibody, also called Annexin I Antibody. Heat-induced epitope retrieval was performed by boiling tissue sections in EDTA buffer, pH 8, for 20 min followed by cooling. Positive staining is observed throughout the malignant squamous epithelial cells. This ANXA1 Antibody demonstrates Annexin A1 expression in human lung squamous cell carcinoma and supports studies of Annexin I in cancer biology and inflammatory signaling.
ANXA1 Antibody Human A549, K562 and U-87 MG Cell WB. Western blot analysis of human A549, K562 and U-87 MG cell lysates was performed with ANXA1 Antibody, also called Annexin I Antibody. Lane 1: A549; Lane 2: K562; Lane 3: U-87 MG. ANXA1 is detected near the predicted molecular weight of approximately 36 kDa, with closely migrating immunoreactive species observed in U-87 MG cells. This ANXA1 Antibody demonstrates detection of endogenous Annexin A1 across multiple human cell lines.
ANXA1 Antibody Human A549 Lung Cancer Cell FACS. Flow cytometry analysis of human A549 lung cancer cells was performed with ANXA1 Antibody, also called Annexin I Antibody, at 1 ug per million cells following blocking with goat serum. The red histogram represents cells alone, green represents the isotype control, and blue represents ANXA1 Antibody staining. A clear fluorescence shift is observed with the ANXA1 Antibody compared with the isotype control, demonstrating detection of Annexin A1 in human A549 cells.

Description

ANXA1 Antibody / Annexin I Antibody recognizes Annexin A1, a calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding protein encoded by the ANXA1 gene. Annexin A1 belongs to the annexin family and is involved in membrane-associated processes, inflammatory regulation and cellular signaling. Historically known as Annexin I and lipocortin I, ANXA1 has been extensively studied for its relationship with glucocorticoid-mediated anti-inflammatory activity and the regulation of immune cell responses.

Annexin A1 is expressed in numerous tissues and cell types and has important functions in innate immune and inflammatory processes. ANXA1 can influence leukocyte trafficking, neutrophil activity, macrophage responses and mechanisms involved in the resolution of inflammation. Its biological functions are affected by cellular localization, calcium-dependent phospholipid binding, phosphorylation and proteolytic processing. These properties allow Annexin A1 to participate in both intracellular signaling and extracellular mechanisms that regulate inflammatory responses.

ANXA1 is also relevant to membrane organization and cellular stress responses. The protein can associate with phospholipid membranes and participate in processes involving membrane dynamics, vesicular trafficking and cytoskeletal interactions. Regulation of ANXA1 expression and localization can vary according to cell type and physiological state, making an ANXA1 Antibody useful for examining Annexin A1 distribution and abundance under different experimental conditions.

Altered Annexin A1 expression has been investigated in a variety of human malignancies. Depending on the tumor type and biological context, changes in ANXA1 expression or localization have been associated with cellular proliferation, migration, invasion, differentiation and interactions with the tumor microenvironment. The relationship between Annexin A1, inflammation and tumor biology has therefore generated considerable interest in ANXA1 as a research target connecting immune regulation with cancer-associated signaling.

NSJ Bioreagents offers mouse monoclonal ANXA1 Antibody clone 6B7F8 for investigating Annexin A1 expression and function. An Annexin I Antibody can support research into inflammatory regulation, innate immune signaling, membrane-associated processes, cellular stress and cancer biology.

Researchers studying Annexin A1 expression and function can explore our Protein Microarray Validated Annexin A1 Antibody page for additional reagents targeting ANXA1 in inflammatory signaling, immune regulation and cancer biology.

Application Notes
