ANXA1 Antibody / Annexin I Antibody recognizes Annexin A1, a calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding protein encoded by the ANXA1 gene. Annexin A1 belongs to the annexin family and is involved in membrane-associated processes, inflammatory regulation and cellular signaling. Historically known as Annexin I and lipocortin I, ANXA1 has been extensively studied for its relationship with glucocorticoid-mediated anti-inflammatory activity and the regulation of immune cell responses.
Annexin A1 is expressed in numerous tissues and cell types and has important functions in innate immune and inflammatory processes. ANXA1 can influence leukocyte trafficking, neutrophil activity, macrophage responses and mechanisms involved in the resolution of inflammation. Its biological functions are affected by cellular localization, calcium-dependent phospholipid binding, phosphorylation and proteolytic processing. These properties allow Annexin A1 to participate in both intracellular signaling and extracellular mechanisms that regulate inflammatory responses.
ANXA1 is also relevant to membrane organization and cellular stress responses. The protein can associate with phospholipid membranes and participate in processes involving membrane dynamics, vesicular trafficking and cytoskeletal interactions. Regulation of ANXA1 expression and localization can vary according to cell type and physiological state, making an ANXA1 Antibody useful for examining Annexin A1 distribution and abundance under different experimental conditions.
Altered Annexin A1 expression has been investigated in a variety of human malignancies. Depending on the tumor type and biological context, changes in ANXA1 expression or localization have been associated with cellular proliferation, migration, invasion, differentiation and interactions with the tumor microenvironment. The relationship between Annexin A1, inflammation and tumor biology has therefore generated considerable interest in ANXA1 as a research target connecting immune regulation with cancer-associated signaling.
NSJ Bioreagents offers mouse monoclonal ANXA1 Antibody clone 6B7F8 for investigating Annexin A1 expression and function. An Annexin I Antibody can support research into inflammatory regulation, innate immune signaling, membrane-associated processes, cellular stress and cancer biology.
Researchers studying Annexin A1 expression and function can explore our Protein Microarray Validated Annexin A1 Antibody page for additional reagents targeting ANXA1 in inflammatory signaling, immune regulation and cancer biology.
Optimal dilution of the ANXA1 Antibody / Annexin I Antibody should be determined by the researcher.
E. coli-derived recombinant human protein (amino acids A2-N346) was used as the immunogen for the ANXA1 antibody.
After reconstitution, the ANXA1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
