Description

MYC is a multifunctional, nuclear phosphoprotein that plays a role in cell cycle progression, apoptosis and cellular transformation. It functions as a transcription factor that regulates transcription of specific target genes.

Application Notes

Titration of the anti-c-Myc antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

A portion of amino acids 351-380 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this anti-c-Myc antibody.

Storage

Aliquot the anti-c-Myc antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
