Annexin A1 Antibody Human Colon Carcinoma IHC. Immunohistochemistry staining of FFPE human colon carcinoma tissue was performed with Annexin A1 Antibody, clone ANXA1/3566. Heat-induced epitope retrieval was performed by boiling tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9, for 10–20 min followed by cooling. Strong positive staining is observed predominantly in stromal cells surrounding the malignant colonic glands, while the epithelial tumor cells show comparatively little staining. This Annexin A1 Antibody demonstrates ANXA1 expression within the human colon carcinoma microenvironment and supports studies of inflammatory signaling and cancer biology.
Annexin A1 Antibody Human Prostate Carcinoma IHC. Immunohistochemistry staining of FFPE human prostate carcinoma tissue was performed with Annexin A1 Antibody, clone ANXA1/3566. Heat-induced epitope retrieval was performed by boiling tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9, for 10–20 min followed by cooling. Strong positive staining is observed in the malignant glandular epithelial cells. This Annexin A1 Antibody demonstrates ANXA1 expression in human prostate carcinoma and supports studies of Annexin A1 in epithelial tumor biology and cancer-associated signaling.
Western blot testing of human A549 cell lysate with Annexin A1 antibody (clone ANXA1/3566). Predicted molecular weight ~38 kDa.
Annexin A1 Antibody Human HeLa Cell FACS. Flow cytometry analysis of PFA-fixed human HeLa cells was performed with Annexin A1 Antibody, clone ANXA1/3566. The blue histogram represents cells stained with Annexin A1 Antibody, while the red histogram represents the isotype control. A clear fluorescence shift is observed with the Annexin A1 Antibody compared with the isotype control, demonstrating detection of ANXA1 in human HeLa cells and supporting studies of Annexin A1 expression and immune-related signaling.
Annexin A1 Antibody Protein Microarray Specificity Validation. Protein Microarray Validated Annexin A1 Antibody, clone ANXA1/3566, was analyzed using a HuProt microarray containing more than 19,000 full-length human proteins. ANXA1 produced the highest-ranked signal with a Z-score of 113.3 and an S-score of 96.14, demonstrating strong preferential recognition of the intended target. The Z-score represents signal strength in standard deviations above the mean signal across the array, while the S-score represents the difference between the target Z-score and the next-ranked protein and therefore reflects relative target specificity. This Annexin A1 Antibody demonstrates a high degree of specificity for ANXA1 across the human protein microarray.
SDS-PAGE analysis of purified, BSA-free Annexin A1 antibody (clone ANXA1/3566) as confirmation of integrity and purity.

Description

Annexin A1 Antibody / Lipocortin I Antibody recognizes Annexin A1, a calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding protein encoded by the ANXA1 gene. Annexin A1 belongs to the annexin family of proteins and is involved in membrane-associated processes, inflammatory regulation, cellular signaling and responses to tissue injury. Historically known as lipocortin I, ANXA1 has been extensively investigated for its relationship with glucocorticoid-mediated anti-inflammatory responses and the regulation of innate immune cell activity.

Annexin A1 is expressed in numerous tissues and is particularly relevant to immune and inflammatory biology. The protein can influence leukocyte trafficking, neutrophil activity, macrophage function and mechanisms involved in the resolution of inflammation. ANXA1 can also interact with membrane phospholipids in a calcium-dependent manner, and its biological activity is influenced by cellular localization, phosphorylation and proteolytic processing. These properties connect Annexin A1 with both intracellular signaling and extracellular mechanisms that regulate inflammatory responses.

ANXA1 is also studied extensively in cancer biology. Changes in Annexin A1 expression and localization have been reported in multiple tumor types, although the direction and biological significance of these changes can vary according to tissue and disease context. ANXA1 has been investigated in relation to tumor cell proliferation, migration, invasion, differentiation and interactions with the tumor microenvironment. An Annexin A1 Antibody can therefore support studies examining the intersection between inflammatory signaling, epithelial biology and cancer-associated changes in ANXA1 expression.

Clone ANXA1/3566 has been evaluated using a human protein microarray to assess antibody specificity across a large collection of recombinant proteins. Protein Microarray Validated antibodies provide an additional approach for evaluating target recognition beyond tissue- and cell-based testing. In HuProt protein microarray analysis, the Z-score reflects the strength of antibody binding relative to background signals across the array, while the S-score reflects the relative specificity of target recognition compared with other proteins represented on the array. These data provide supporting evidence for the specificity profile of clone ANXA1/3566.

NSJ Bioreagents offers mouse monoclonal Annexin A1 Antibody clone ANXA1/3566 for investigating ANXA1 expression and function. A Lipocortin I Antibody can support research into inflammatory regulation, innate immune signaling, membrane-associated processes, cellular stress and cancer biology.
