ANKH is a multipass transmembrane protein that is expressed in joints and other tissues and controls pyrophosphate levels in cultured cells. Progressive ankylosis-mediated control of pyrophosphate levels has been suggested as a possible mechanism regulating tissue calcification and susceptibility to arthritis in higher animals.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the ANKH antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 464-492 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the ANKH antibody.
Aliquot the ANKH antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
