ANF Antibody Mouse Heart WB. Western blot analysis of two independent lots of mouse heart tissue lysate using ANF antibody demonstrates consistent detection of a distinct immunoreactive band at approximately 17 kDa, corresponding to Atrial Natriuretic Factor (ANF/ANP). ANF is a cardiac-derived peptide hormone encoded by the NPPA gene and functions as a key regulator of cardiovascular homeostasis, fluid balance, and endocrine signaling. The comparable band intensity and migration observed between lysate lots support reproducible detection of ANF in cardiac tissue. Western blot was performed using 0.5 ug/ml primary antibody. Predicted molecular weight: ~17 kDa.
ANF Antibody Mouse Heart IHC. Immunohistochemistry staining of FFPE mouse heart tissue using ANF antibody demonstrates localized cytoplasmic staining within cardiac-associated cell populations, consistent with expression of Atrial Natriuretic Factor (ANF/ANP). ANF is a cardiac-derived peptide hormone encoded by the NPPA gene that functions as an important regulator of cardiovascular homeostasis, fluid balance, and endocrine signaling. The observed staining pattern is consistent with the role of ANF-producing cardiac cells in natriuretic peptide-mediated regulation of circulatory physiology. These findings support the utility of ANF antibody for studies of cardiac hormone biology, cardiovascular signaling, and endocrine regulation. HIER: boil tissue sections in pH6 10mM citrate buffer for 10-20 min followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min.
ANF Antibody Rat Heart IHC. Immunohistochemistry staining of FFPE rat heart tissue using ANF antibody demonstrates cytoplasmic staining within cardiac muscle and cardiac-associated cellular structures, consistent with expression of Atrial Natriuretic Factor (ANF/ANP). ANF is a peptide hormone encoded by the NPPA gene and serves as an important regulator of cardiovascular homeostasis, fluid balance, and natriuretic peptide signaling. The observed staining pattern is consistent with the established role of cardiac tissue as a major site of ANF production and endocrine regulation. These findings support the utility of ANF antibody for studies of cardiac hormone biology, cardiovascular signaling pathways, and endocrine function. HIER: boil tissue sections in pH6 10mM citrate buffer for 10-20 min followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min.
ANF Antibody Rat Small Intestine IHC. Immunohistochemistry staining of FFPE rat small intestine tissue using ANF antibody demonstrates localized staining within scattered cellular and submucosal-associated structures, consistent with expression of Atrial Natriuretic Factor (ANF/ANP). ANF is a peptide hormone encoded by the NPPA gene that functions as a key regulator of cardiovascular homeostasis, fluid balance, and endocrine signaling. In addition to its well-established cardiac expression, natriuretic peptide signaling components are present in multiple tissue types where they may contribute to local regulatory and homeostatic processes. These findings support the utility of ANF antibody for studies of peptide hormone expression, endocrine communication, and natriuretic peptide biology. HIER: boil tissue sections in pH6 10mM citrate buffer for 10-20 min followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min.
ANF Antibody Mouse Heart Tissue WB. Western blot analysis of mouse heart tissue lysates from two separate lots using ANF antibody demonstrates a strong immunoreactive band at approximately 17 kDa, consistent with the expected molecular weight of Atrial Natriuretic Factor (ANF/ANP). ANF is a cardiac hormone produced by cardiomyocytes that participates in natriuretic peptide signaling pathways regulating cardiovascular function, circulatory homeostasis, and fluid balance. The consistent detection of ANF in both heart lysate preparations supports the utility of this antibody for studies of cardiac endocrine signaling and cardiovascular biology. Western blot was performed using 0.5 ug/ml primary antibody. Predicted molecular weight: ~17 kDa.

Description

ANF Antibody / Cardiac Hormone Antibody is designed for the detection and study of Atrial Natriuretic Factor (ANF), also known as Atrial Natriuretic Peptide (ANP) and encoded by the NPPA gene. ANF is a peptide hormone produced primarily by cardiac tissue and functions as a central regulator of cardiovascular homeostasis. Through endocrine signaling mechanisms, ANF helps coordinate physiologic processes involved in fluid balance, vascular function, and circulatory regulation. Its role as a cardiac-derived hormone has established ANF as one of the most extensively studied endocrine mediators of cardiovascular biology.

ANF is synthesized as a precursor protein that undergoes proteolytic processing to generate biologically active peptide hormones. Following release from cardiac cells, ANF interacts with natriuretic peptide receptors to regulate signaling pathways that influence fluid and electrolyte balance, vascular tone, and systemic cardiovascular function. These activities enable ANF to function as an important molecular link between the heart and other organ systems involved in maintaining physiologic homeostasis.

As a cardiac hormone, ANF serves as a key component of endocrine communication networks that help coordinate responses to changes in circulatory demands and physiologic conditions. ANF signaling contributes to regulation of cardiovascular adaptation and plays important roles in maintaining normal cardiac and vascular function. Because of its central position within cardiovascular endocrine pathways, ANF is widely utilized as a marker in studies of cardiac biology, circulatory regulation, and hormone-mediated signaling processes.

Beyond its established role in cardiovascular physiology, ANF has attracted significant research interest in developmental biology, endocrine signaling, renal physiology, and tissue homeostasis. The natriuretic peptide family represents an important group of peptide hormones that regulate communication between organ systems and coordinate systemic physiologic responses. Consequently, ANF remains an important target for investigations examining cardiovascular regulation, endocrine function, and hormone-mediated signaling pathways.

ANF continues to be studied as a biomarker of cardiac endocrine activity and as a critical mediator of natriuretic peptide signaling. Its ability to integrate cardiovascular, renal, and endocrine responses highlights the importance of ANF in maintaining normal physiologic balance. Researchers utilize ANF expression analysis to better understand the molecular mechanisms that regulate cardiovascular adaptation and systemic homeostasis.

ANF Antibody is useful for investigating cardiovascular signaling, cardiac hormone biology, endocrine regulation, natriuretic peptide pathways, and fluid homeostasis. Researchers utilize ANF Antibody reagents to evaluate protein expression patterns and study molecular mechanisms governing cardiovascular function, endocrine communication, and hormone-mediated regulatory processes.
