ALPL antibody detects Alkaline phosphatase, a membrane-bound metalloenzyme encoded by the ALPL gene that hydrolyzes phosphate esters in an alkaline environment. The UniProt recommended name is Alkaline phosphatase, tissue-nonspecific isozyme (ALPL). This enzyme is widely expressed in bone, liver, and kidney tissues and plays a central role in mineralization and phosphate metabolism. 1. The prediluted format is supplied in a dropper bottle and is optimized for use in IHC. After epitope retrieval step (if required), drip mAb solution onto the tissue section and incubate at RT for 30 min.
