The SERPINA3 protein, commonly referred to as Alpha-1-antichymotrypsin, is a major component of the acute phase response in inflammatory conditions. Alpha 1-Antichymotrypsin, also called AACT, is a plasma protease inhibitor synthesized in the liver. It is widely used to identify histiocytes and tumors derived from them.
This SERPINA3 antibody is part of a broader set of Alpha-1-antichymotrypsin antibody reagents; for a validation-focused AACT antibody reference including liver expression and protein microarray specificity data, see AACT antibody clone SERPINA3/4184.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting amounts. Titration of the Alpha-1-Antichymotrypsin antibody cocktail may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
