Aldehyde reductase / AKR1A1 / ALR is a member of the aldo/keto reductase superfamily, which consists of more than 40 known enzymes and proteins. This member is involved in the reduction of biogenic and xenobiotic aldehydes and is present in virtually every tissue.
Titration of the AKR1A1 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 293-325 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this AKR1A1 antibody.
Aliquot the AKR1A1 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
