Acyl-CoA synthases catalyze the initial reaction in fatty acid metabolism, by forming a thioester with CoA. Acyl-CoA synthetase family member 2 has some preference toward medium-chain substrates. Plays a role in adipodyte differentiation.
Titration of the ACSF2 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 587-615 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this ACSF2 antibody.
Aliquot the ACSF2 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
