This gene is upstream of, and in a head-to-head orientation with the gene for the mitochondrial ribosomal protein L34. Abhydrolase domain-containing protein 8 contains alpha/beta hydrolase fold and secretory lipase domains.
Titration of the ABHD8 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 410-439 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this ABHD8 antibody.
