Description

ABCB5 belongs to the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter superfamily of integral membrane proteins. These proteins participate in ATP-dependent transmembrane transport of structurally diverse molecules ranging from small ions, sugars, and peptides to more complex organic molecules.

Application Notes

Titration of the ABCB5 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

A portion of amino acids 1-30 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this ABCB5 antibody.

Storage

Aliquot the ABCB5 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
