Description

ATP-binding cassette sub-family A member 2 is a probable transporter, its natural substrate has not been found yet. May have a role in macrophage lipid metabolism and neural development.

Application Notes

Titration of the ABCA2 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

This ABCA2 antibody was produced from a rabbit immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 1339-1373 amino acids from the central region of human ABCA2.

Storage

Aliquot the ABCA2 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
