Description

This gene encodes 'Vacuolar protein sorting-associated protein 51 homolog,' also called 'Protein fat-free homolog,' a member of the vacuolar protein sorting-associated protein 51 family. The encoded protein is a component of the Golgi-associated retrograde protein complex which acts as a tethering factor for carriers in retrograde transport from the early and late endosomes to the trans-Golgi network. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Immunogen

E. coli-derived recombinant human protein (amino acids K38-R781) was used as the immunogen for the VPS51 antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the VPS51 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
