Description

TUFM is a protein which participates in protein translation in mitochondria. This protein promotes the GTP-dependent binding of aminoacyl-tRNA to the A-site of ribosomes during protein biosynthesis.

Application Notes

The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the TUFM antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

A portion of amino acids 75-104 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the TUFM antibody.

Storage

Aliquot the TUFM antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
