TRX2 is a mitochondrial member of the thioredoxin family, a group of small multifunctional redox-active proteins. The encoded protein may play important roles in the regulation of the mitochondrial membrane potential and in protection against oxidant-induced apoptosis.
Titration of the Trx2 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 136-166 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this Trx2 antibody.
Aliquot the Trx2 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
