Troponin C, also called TNNC1, and TNC, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the TNNC1 gene. Using a monochromosomal hybrid panel, the TNNC1 gene is mapped to chromosome 3; subsequent analysis of the Genebridge 4 radiation hybrid panel localized the gene to 3p in a region consistent with the earlier assignment. Circular dichroism measurements revealed changes in the secondary structures of the TNNC1 mutants A8V, C84Y, and D145E.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting amounts. Titration of the Troponin C antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
An amino acid sequence from the N-terminus of human cardiac Troponin C (MDDIYKAAVEQLTEEQKN) was used as the immunogen for this Troponin C antibody (100% homologous in human, mouse and rat).
After reconstitution, the Troponin C antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
