Description

This gene encodes 'mRNA methyladenosine-N(1)-methyltransferase non-catalytic subunit TRM6,' a member of the tRNA methyltransferase 6 protein family. A similar protein in yeast is part of a two component methyltransferase, which is involved in the posttranslational modification that produces the modified nucleoside 1-methyladenosine in tRNAs. Modified 1-methyladenosine influences initiator methionine stability and may be involved in the replication of human immunodeficiency virus type 1. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Optimal dilution of the TRMT6 antibody should be determined by the researcher.

Immunogen

E. coli-derived recombinant human protein (amino acids E6-K489) was used as the immunogen for the TRMT6 antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the TRMT6 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
