Description

Transmembrane protease, serine 6 (also known as matriptase-2) is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the TMPRSS6 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a type II transmembrane serine proteinase that is found attached to the cell surface. The encoded protein may be involved in matrix remodeling processes in the liver. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Optimal dilution of the TMPRSS6 antibody should be determined by the researcher.

Immunogen

Recombinant human protein (amino acids M1-Q759) was used as the immunogen for the TMPRSS6 antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the TMPRSS6 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
