Description

Transcription elongation factor SPT5 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SUPT5H gene. Enables enzyme binding activity and protein heterodimerization activity. Involved in positive regulation of macroautophagy; regulation of RNA metabolic process; and transcription elongation from RNA polymerase II promoter. Located in nucleoplasm. Part of DSIF complex.

Application Notes

Optimal dilution of the SPT5 antibody should be determined by the researcher.

Immunogen

Recombinant human protein (amino acids Q533-A1087) was used as the immunogen for the SPT5 antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the SPT5 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
