Description

Ski oncogene may play a role in terminal differentiation of skeletal muscle cells but not in the determination of cells to the myogenic lineage. Functions as a repressor of TGF-beta signaling.

Application Notes

Titration of the SKI antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

A portion of amino acids 21-54 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the SKI antibody.

Storage

Aliquot the SKI antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
