Description

Sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) is a bioactive sphingolipid metabolite that regulates diverse biologic processes. SGPP1 catalyzes the degradation of S1P via salvage and recycling of sphingosine into long-chain ceramides [supplied by OMIM].

Application Notes

The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the SGPP1 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

A portion of amino acids 13-42 from the human protein were used as the immunogen for the SGPP1 antibody.

Storage

Aliquot the SGPP1 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
