RPS6KB2 is a member of the RSK (ribosomal S6 kinase) family of serine/threonine kinases. This kinase contains 2 nonidentical kinase catalytic domains and phosphorylates the S6 ribosomal protein and eucaryotic translation initiation factor 4B. Phosphorylation of S6 leads to an increase in protein synthesis and cell proliferation. [Wiki]
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting amounts. Titration of the S6K2 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
This S6K2 antibody was produced from rabbits immunized with human RPS6KB2 recombinant protein.
Store at 4oC for up to one month. For long term, aliquot the S6K2 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
