RUNX (runt-related transcription factor) proteins are a family of transcription factors involved in many different biological systems, including cell differentiation and cancer. RUNX2 is an essential factor in bone development, acting as a scaffold protein for nucleic acids and regulatory factors involved in skeletal gene expression. It is also involved in cancer cell movement, activating factors involved in the metastasis of prostate and breast cancer cells to bone.
Provided assay concentrations are suggestions only, RUNX2 antibody titration may be required for optimal results.
A recombinant protein fragment from the internal region of human RUNX2 was used as the immunogen for this antibody.
Aliquot the RUNX2 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
