Protein O-mannosyl-transferase 2 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the POMT2 gene. This gene is mapped to chromosome 14q24.3. The protein encoded by this gene is an O-mannosyltransferase that requires interaction with the product of the POMT1 gene for enzymatic function. The encoded protein is found in the membrane of the endoplasmic reticulum. Defects in this gene are a cause of Walker-Warburg syndrome (WWS).
Optimal dilution of the POMT2 antibody should be determined by the researcher.
Amino acids QAARAAGRDVAAEAVARSPKR from the human protein were used as the immunogen for the POMT2 antibody.
After reconstitution, the POMT2 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
