Peptidoglycan recognition protein 2 may play a scavenger role by digesting biologically active peptidoglycan (PGN) into biologically inactive fragments. Has no direct bacteriolytic activity.
Titration of the PGLYRP2 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 75-107 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the PGLYRP2 antibody.
Aliquot the PGLYRP2 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
