Description

This gene encodes a protein localized to the nucleus in proliferating cells. Expression of this gene is modulated by cytokines in natural killer and T cells. The gene product is thought to play a role in apoptosis but the specific role has not yet been determined. Two transcripts encoding different isoforms have been identified.

Application Notes

Titration of the PDCD4 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

A portion of amino acids 121-149 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this PDCD4 antibody.

Storage

Aliquot the PDCD4 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
