PDZ binding kinase (PBK), also known as TOPK, is a serine/threonine kinase related to the dual specific mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase (MAPKK) family. PBK can mediate cell growth through histone H3 modification. Evidence suggests that mitotic phosphorylation is required for its catalytic activity. It may be involved in the activation of lymphoid cells and support testicular functions, with a suggested role in the process of spermatogenesis.
Variations in secondary/substrate sensitivities and test protocols may require the PBK antibody to be titrated for optimal performance.
Human partial recombinant protein (AA 71-322) was used as the immunogen for this PBK antibody.
The lyophilized PBK antibody can be stored at 4oC to -20oC. After reconstitution, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freeze/thaws.
