NIFK (nucleolar protein interacting with the FHA domain of pKi-67), also called Ki-67ip, was identified via a two-hybrid screening from HeLa cDNA using the N-terminal portion of pKi-67. It can bind RNA and may play a role in mitosis and cell cycle progression. In mitosis, NIFK is thought to colocalize with pKi-67 at the surface of mitotic chromosomes.
Provided assay concentrations are suggestions only, antibody titration may be required for optimal results.
A recombinant protein fragment from the central portion of NIFK was used as the immunogen for this antibody.
Aliquot the NIFK antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
