MYCN is a member of the MYC family and a protein with a basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) domain. This protein is located in the nucleus and must dimerize with another bHLH protein in order to bind DNA. Amplification of its gene is associated with a variety of tumors, most notably neuroblastomas.
Titration of the MYCN antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 322-351 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this MYCN antibody.
Aliquot the MYCN antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
