Proteoglycan 4 (PRG4), also called Lubricin, plays a role in boundary lubrication within articulating joints. Prevents protein deposition onto cartilage from synovial fluid by controlling adhesion-dependent synovial growth and inhibiting the adhesion of synovial cells to the cartilage surface.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the Lubricin antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 176-210 from the N-terminal region of the human protein was used as the immunogen for the Lubricin antibody.
Aliquot the Lubricin antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
