Description

IL8 is a member of the CXC chemokine family. This chemokine is one of the major mediators of the inflammatory response. This chemokine is secreted by several cell types. It functions as a chemoattractant, and is also a potent angiogenic factor.

Application Notes

Titration of the IL-8 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

A portion of amino acids 72-99 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this IL-8 antibody.

Storage

Aliquot the IL-8 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
