The protein encoded by this gene is a T cell-derived cytokine that shares sequence similarity with IL17. This cytokine was reported to stimulate the release of TNF alpha (TNF) and IL1 beta (IL1B) from a monocytic cell line. Immunohistochemical analysis of several nerve tissues indicated that this cytokine is primarily localized to neuronal cell bodies.
Optimal dilution of the IL-17B antibody should be determined by the researcher.
A recombinant human protein corresponding to amino acids Q21-F180 was used as the immunogen for the IL-17B antibody.
After reconstitution, the IL-17B antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
