ICAM1 is a ligand for lymphocyte function-associated (LFA) antigens, a beta 2 leukocyte integrin. The normal function of human ICAM1 is to provide adhesion between endothelial cells and leukocytes after injury or stress. It binds to leukocyte function-associated antigen (LFA-1) on leukocytes, fibroblasts, epithelial cells and endothelial cells and its expression is regulated by inflammatory cytokines.
Titration of the ICAM1 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
Mouse partial recombinant protein (AA 198-537) was used as the immunogen for this ICAM1 antibody.
After reconstitution, the ICAM1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
