Description

Protein Hook homolog 3 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the HOOK3 gene. Hook proteins are cytosolic coiled-coil proteins that contain conserved N-terminal domains, which attach to microtubules, and more divergent C-terminal domains, which mediate binding to organelles. The Drosophila Hook protein is a component of the endocytic compartment.

Application Notes

Optimal dilution of the HOOK3 antibody should be determined by the researcher.

Immunogen

Amino acids E14-R198 from the human protein were used as the immunogen for the HOOK3 antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the HOOK3 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
