HES6 is a member of a subfamily of basic helix-loop-helix transcription repressors that have homology to the Drosophila enhancer of split genes. The protein functions as a cofactor, interacting with other transcription factors through a tetrapeptide domain in its C-terminus.
Titration of the HES6 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 6-34 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this HES6 antibody.
Aliquot the HES6 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
