Description

GRP94 (94 kDa glucose-regulated protein), also called Endoplasmin, is a chaperone protein that in humans is encoded by the HSP90B1 gene. This gene encodes a member of a family of adenosine triphosphate (ATP)-metabolizing molecular chaperones with roles in stabilizing and folding other proteins. The encoded protein is localized to melanosomes and the endoplasmic reticulum. Expression of this protein is associated with a variety of pathogenic states, including tumor formation.

Application Notes

Optimal dilution of the GRP94 antibody should be determined by the researcher.

Immunogen

Amino acids 43-221 of human GRP94 were used as the immunogen for the GRP94 antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the GRP94 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
