Description

Guanine nucleotide-binding protein G(I)/G(S)/G(O) subunit gamma-2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the GNG2 gene. This gene encodes one of the gamma subunits of a guanine nucleotide-binding protein. Such proteins are involved in signaling mechanisms across membranes. Various subunits forms heterodimers which then interact with the different signal molecules.

Application Notes

Optimal dilution of the GNG2 antibody should be determined by the researcher.

Immunogen

A human recombinant partial protein (amino acids A2-D48) was used as the immunogen for the GNG2 antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the GNG2 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
