eNos/NOS3 produces nitric oxide (NO) which is implicated in vascular smooth muscle relaxation through a cGMP-mediated signal transduction pathway. NO mediates vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)-induced angiogenesis in coronary vessels and promotes blood clotting through the activation of platelets. [UniProt]
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting amounts. Titration of the eNos antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 1156-1183 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this eNos antibody.
Store at 4oC for up to one month. For long term, aliquot the eNos antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
