KRT12 encodes the type I intermediate filament chain keratin 12, expressed in corneal epithelia. Mutations in this gene lead to Meesmann corneal dystrophy.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the Cytokeratin 12 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 442-471 from the human protein were used as the immunogen for the Cytokeratin 12 antibody.
Aliquot the Cytokeratin 12 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
