Description

CD40 is the receptor for TNFSF5/CD40LG. Transduces TRAF6- and MAP3K8-mediated signals that activate ERK in macrophages and B cells, leading to induction of immunoglobulin secretion. [UniProt]

Application Notes

Titration of the CD40 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

A portion of amino acids 247-276 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this CD40 antibody.

Storage

Aliquot the CD40 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
