Description

CD166 is cell adhesion molecule that binds to CD6. The protein is involved in neurite extension by neurons via heterophilic and homophilic interactions. It may play a role in the binding of T- and B-cells to activated leukocytes, as well as in interactions between cells of the nervous system.

Application Notes

Titration of the CD166 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

A portion of amino acids 58-87 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this CD166 antibody.

Storage

Aliquot the CD166 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
